The Unique Experience of Parenting a 2e Kid
Raising a twice-exceptional kid is a unique and sometimes challenging experience. Before finding Trillium, many families go through a long, frustrating search for the right school. Our parent community understands that experience firsthand and offers the kind of support that comes from truly being seen. When a family joins Trillium, both the student and their parents often feel a sense of belonging they hadn't found anywhere else.
“Every time I’m with other parents, there's definitely a sense of camaraderie. To be able to share stories and feel like there's this felt sense of understanding is really big.” – High School Parent

Connect with our Community
The Parent Association is dedicated to fostering connection and understanding among Trillium families, with a focus on building a safe, welcoming community.
Parents gather several times each month, including a coffee meetup on campus on one Friday a month and pub nights around the city.
Our parents also connect on Discord, where they share recommendations for summer camps and after-school activities, resources for counselors and driving school, and neurodivergent education webinars and discussion groups. Email pa@trilliumacademy.org to request an invitation (available to current families only).
