At Trillium Academy, our admissions process centers on learning about and understanding the prospective students and families who want to explore our school. Trillium Academy accepts applications for grades 5-8 (Middle School) and 9-12 (High School) through January 15, 2026.*
High School

Prior to the formal submission of an application, we engage in a series of discussions to build understanding about your prospective student. Our admissions team will review information gathered at each step, and we may send additional questionnaires to help us assess if your child is twice-exceptional and if we can meet their needs.
Step 1
Submit an inquiry form. We also invite you to attend our Open House: register here.
Step 2
Our Admission Specialist will scheduling the following:
- Parent/Guardian Meeting with Trillium Academy by phone, Zoom, or in-person
- Family Tour & Student Interview
- Group Student Visit, a 2-hour mini classroom experience with other prospective students.
Step 3
Submit documentation to deepen our understanding of your child with the goal of identifying their strengths and challenges.
- Psychological Testing and IEP/504 Documents
- Standardized Testing Documents, which may include but is not limited to the CogAT, SBA, MAP, STAR, ERB, ISEE, and/or SSAT. Please note: We are not requiring prospective students to take additional testing, but rather, we want documentation of any tests that have already been completed.
- Work Samples or Portfolio (optional)
Step 4
After these steps, our admissions team will reach out to you to recommend next steps. We may invite you to provide additional information and/or start the formal application. Or, we may determine that your child is not a fit for Trillium Academy at this time and would be happy to discuss this decision with you.
Step 5
Complete application process through Ravenna, which includes Teacher Evaluations, Records Request, and Student Questionnaire/Essay and Interest & Activities forms.
*For families interested in mid-year admission for the 2025-2026 school year, applications are considered on a rolling, space-available basis; please reach out to admissions@trilliumacademy.org as soon as possible.
