Strategic Directions

The board of trustees and school leadership team have identified key priorities for the school to focus on in the next 3-5 years as we move from surviving our first year to thriving in the future. We prioritized five areas to guide our strategic goals in the following directions:

Identity

Trillium will develop a clear brand identity as an innovative hub for 2e education, clarifying who the school serves, how it delivers an effective education for its students, and why it matters.

Community & Culture

Trillium will create and sustain an inclusive community and culture that is connected, cohesive, supportive, informed, and engaged. The school seeks to provide a space where students and families are respected and valued for their authentic selves.

Program & Learning Environment

The school will develop and define an innovative and intentional curricular model that attains the learning outcomes we define for our students within a learning environment that respects, supports, and develops the whole student according to their needs and individual developmental timeline.

Financial Sustainability

Trillium prioritizes financial sustainability to ensure its ability to educate 2e learners now and into the future. School governance will exercise its fiduciary and strategic responsibilities, foster strong philanthropic engagement both internally and externally, and explore non-tuition revenue opportunities to alleviate reliance on tuition and admissions.

Facilities

Trillium will secure a stable home for the next 10-15 years. As part of the plan, the school will make upgrades to the current facility, build the board’s capacity for facilities expertise and oversight, and prepare the community for possible future relocation.
