In a community-wide email this week, Megan McCall announced that Genevieve Norwood has been appointed Dean of Students for High School and Alexander Stern has been appointed Dean of Students for Middle / Lower School at Trillium Academy for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
Both Gen and Alexander have been integral members of our community during our inaugural year, embodying our core values of consideration, creativity, and growth mindset in their work with our twice-exceptional students.
Read the full announcement here.

This week, we also sent an important update about our divisional structure for the upcoming academic year. After careful consideration and planning, we have made the decision to reconfigure our divisions by combining grades 5-8 into a single Middle School division and will not be enrolling new 4th graders for next year. This decision was not made lightly, but we understand that changes can bring a range of responses. Staffulty will be collaborating over the next few weeks to support students in processing this change for next year and ensuring our younger students are prepared for the transition to middle school along with their 6th grade peers. For our current 7th graders, there will be opportunities for leadership development and culture building as they look ahead to 8th grade.
Read the full announcement here. Please reach out to Megan McCall with any concerns or questions: megan.mccall@trilliumacademy.org

Wednesday, June 4
We are looking forward to this celebratory event at the Museum of Flight! We'll be honoring our graduating class of 2025 and acknowledging our eighth-grade students moving up to high school and our fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade students moving up to middle school. We can offer free museum entry for students and parents joining us at the Museum of Flight.

Below is the plan for the school day on June 4. Please note: Trillium Academy is not responsible for getting students to the Museum of Flight.

We will offer regular Flex Day programming through lunch, at which point parents can pick up their child for the afternoon at the museum. For those students who aren't participating in the Museum of Flight, parents may pick up their child at Trillium by 2:30 pm at the latest (there will be no after-school care). We understand your child might not have the energy for the full day and may need to be home in the morning and meet up at the museum. Please let us know by emailing .
