* Trillium will cover the cost for each student to attend, and every student will get to pick out a pumpkin to bring home.
* Students will be grouped and chaperoned by advisory group.

Yet for neurodivergent kids — bright, anxious, autistic, ADHD, or learning-different — friendship can feel difficult, especially when social intuition doesn't come naturally. The good news? Every child can find at least “one friend and a spare” when they know how. In this practical and heart-centered session, join Debbie Steinberg, licensed family therapist and founder of Bright & Quirky, to learn what healthy friendship looks like for uniquely wired kids and how to align your expectations with their real social needs. Planning a February Break Trip with Global Family Travels




In the 2023-2024 school year, four families (at least one parent and one student) went to Costa Rica with [Global Family Travels](https://ysm8sxhbb.cc.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001LPFlaUNoRoE_L9GVY5ehA9uhDkU6geg1Ce1J2ASvFD5bYbHgFHO0orcXVe96KQ7BgWa9b7YoZq-RCx12d8TmGDqFE_lBt3iwd13NBYMkyabJ58M2C2QtyL4C2k2pXNsiioEVAU6sQBwREmkNSHy_LKrsNrutJlsJXrooM9qQLoU=&c=IMDWeqrXhrmMiHJlCLqHBH4xSGfWETdj4VERHRJb9cjO_xQLdwMYRA==&ch=PuyMdCpLIct6erlJCthpiLMK28JXL3gwkTAfagEgshoPafLnX8n5aA==) (GFT). Trips will start to book up, so planning for a potential trip in February needs to start soon!




GFT makes planning group trips easy, with neurodivergent friendly itineraries (activities, hotels, and transportation). On the 2024 trip, Trillium families had a blast exploring Costa Rica with a driver and tour guide. In addition to rainforest exploration, a chocolate tour, horseback riding, and zip lining, the group did some light community service: sorting plastic caps for recycling into beach walkways for disabled people, planting trees, and helping at a sea turtle conservation beach project.
