We are so proud of Ian Miller and Elara Horwood for paving the path as our first-ever graduates! We also celebrated our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders moving up to Middle School, and our 8th graders moving up the High School. Wednesday evening was a beautiful celebration of community, achievement, transition, and growth.
Ian Miller will attend Digipen Institute of Technology in Redmond.
Elara Horwood will attend American University of Paris.

Last day of school celebrations with Staffulty Talent Show, yearbook signing, and Field Day in the afternoon.




Parents are welcome to join for Field Day from 1:30-3:00 pm and stop by either the Garden Party or the MakerSpace Open House from 3:00-4:00 pm.
Join the Trillium Parent Association Action Team




As a Trillium parent, you are automatically a member of the Parent Association. We are a group of parents walking unique paths that allow us to really understand each other. The primary focus of the Trillium Parent Association will be building community among parents and caregivers. The PA also organizes staffulty appreciation and supports school-initiated events, as requested.

As we prepare for summer construction projects, we are in need of moving boxes to help with staffulty packing up classrooms. If you have any boxes that you want to donate to Trillium, please bring them by the school anytime.

Middle Division Fun Day
Tuesday, June 10




To celebrate the end of the year, we will have a Middle Division (including lower school!) Fun Day next Tuesday at Flo Ware Park from Lunch through 5th period (11:35 am - 2:00 pm).




We are looking for Parent Volunteers to sign up for one or more of the following:
* Bring yard games (cornhole, ring toss, etc...)
* Purchase and bring Pizza (cheese and pepperoni), plates and napkins
* Chaperone at the park
* Bring decorations like balloons, "you did it!" signs, sidewalk chalk, etc.

High School
High School Letters to Representatives




High school students are finalizing letters to various elected officials on topics of their choice. Students picked their own topic, researched their chosen issue to understand how it affected other people, and advocated for a specific position to recipients at any level of government. They utilized Washington State Legislature's online portal to find their elected representatives, determined the most appropriate recipient, and printed, signed, and mailed their letters. This project tested skills in civic engagement and civil discourse, as well as executive function around task initiation and meeting deadlines. Below are a few topics our students selected.




* Writing to Washington senators advocating on behalf of LGBTQIA+ individuals serving in America's armed forces
* Writing to Washington state and federal representatives advocating for increased protections for individuals with autism.
* Writing to Washington senators urging support for the legalization of responsible raccoon ownership
* Writing to Washington state senators requesting support for the construction of a food supply warehouse for people in Seattle’s south end

Families are invited to enjoy each other's company every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday in June. Connect with old friends and new as you pick your child up from school. Once school is out, students are the responsibility of the parents as we won't have staffulty supervision. Bring your own lawn chair, if you have one.

In this meeting, we had an opportunity to connect over fun summer plans and appreciation for the Trillium community. We highlighted a few recent successes, including the first school play performance, a successful parent lab event, and our exceptional Cognia accreditation. Megan provided updates on the middle school transition, enrollment numbers, and staffing updates - including a new school counselor for next year. Chris presented the beginning of a curriculum guide for middle school and high school divisions. Margaret and Evans highlighted the incredible fundraising success over the past year and shared more about the fundraising program for the next school year. Megan wrapped up the meeting with a Q&A.
