Introducing our New Humanities Teacher!


Kellie Highland is taking on a full teaching load as a middle and high school humanities teacher. She is the founder of The Question Center in Florida, an inclusive school for students who may not fit into the traditional style of learning. She also has experience teaching life skills, social skills, and executive functioning skills to students with learning challenges.

Enrollment Agreements for the 2026-2027 Year




As a reminder, our evergreen enrollment system assumes automated, year-over-year enrollment to minimize administrative tasks for parents. Until we are told otherwise, we assume your child will be returning for next school year. If you haven't yet, please update the deposit information in TADS to confirm continued enrollment at Trillium for the 2026-2027 school year as soon as possible. TADS will not charge you for the upcoming year until you have selected a payment plan. Timely completion allows us to budget and send our teachers employment offer letters for next year.

Highlights from the Week
High School Field Trip




Our high school biology students visited the Fred Hutch labs to perform genetic testing. Our bio teacher, Mari, has experience in these labs and got to show students what it's like to be a real lab scientist for an afternoon.🔬🧫
Middle School Field Trip




Our middle schoolers visited either a water treatment plant or a battery component manufacturer and rounded the trip out at FlowerWorld, where they got to pick out some flowers to plant around campus. 🌸🌼
Pi Day
Friday, March 13


On March 13, we are celebrating Pi Day with a pizza party during lunch! Students are welcome to bring a homemade pie to share with others, but a full ingredient list must be included for allergen safety. We're also holding an art contest for the best representation of pi. The High School spring trip this year will be the week before spring break, departing on Sunday, April 5, and returning before evening on Friday, April 10. Additional trip details are forthcoming. Tech use is a common concern for our parents, and we are offering a new parent education and connection series in partnership with Daniel Oglivie, our part-time counselor who specializes in video gaming addiction. The first few sessions will include presentations on screen compulsion, tech use disorder vs. addiction, and Trillium's approach to mitigating tech issues. Later sessions will evolve based on the group's interests and needs, focused on collaborative discussion.

Trillium Family Weekend

Trillium family volunteers have organized a delightful weekend for us to spend time in community, March 20 through March 22 (with the option to stay through March 23, since there's no school on Monday).

This is an unhosted event, so families can choose how to engage in this weekend in a way that best meets their needs. If you aren’t able to join us for the full weekend or can’t stay overnight, the bulk of the activities will happen on Saturday, so we hope you'll come for part of the weekend. We will have a menu of options for people to choose from, including a hike, exploring charming Blaine, group lunch, and s’mores on the beach if the weather cooperates.
