Back-to-School Welcome Package
We are sending a care package to all our Trillium Families to welcome you back to school for the 2025-2026 school year! You'll receive a letter from the Head of School, a school calendar, and some fun Trillium swag. Please be on the lookout for a package in the next week or so.
 
Class Schedule & Programming
Our team has been working diligently to finalize the curriculum and schedule for the upcoming year. While a few details are still being finalized, we want to share the general structure and plan to help you begin preparing.

Stay Tuned: Welcome Letter from our Deans of Students
Our new Deans of Students, Gen Norwood (High School) and Alexander Stern (Middle School), have been buzzing with ideas and working closely with the admin team to launch into this new school year. They are putting the finishing touches on a Deans’ Welcome Letter that will arrive in your email inbox next week.
In this letter, they will share their vision for the Dean of Students role—both the big-picture goals and the day-to-day ways they will support our students and families. The letter will also outline additions and updates to our Student Handbook’s school policies that capture and build on the strong foundation of norms and systems that worked well for students and staffulty last year. The Deans’ excitement is building as they get ready to welcome students back for a fantastic school year!
Action Item: Parent Partnership Meetings
To welcome families to the school year, we are asking that all families schedule a 30-minute Parent Partnership meeting. The purpose of these meetings is to connect with members of your student’s teaching team to share information, identify goals, and collaborate to set your student up for success. Action Item: Student Orientation
As part of the first day of school on Wednesday, September 3, we will have an official orientation for all students.
Additionally, we are offering an optional student orientation in the form of a school tour on Tuesday, September 2, from 2:00 to 2:45 pm. You are welcome to drop your student off or stay on campus to gather and connect with other families.
If your student is unable to attend during this scheduled visit time but would still like to visit the campus on September 2, please request a different time in the RSVP form below, but note that most of our staffulty will be busy in Parent Partnership Meetings.

Lorelei Amato, Art Teacher
Lorelei has been a teaching artist for over 20 years. Working with a range of ages and materials, she enjoys helping people unlock their creativity and discover the power they have to feed their minds and spirits. She has experience developing integrated arts curriculum and working with a neurodivergent population. Lorelei is a freelance artist and also owns 1403 ArtSpace—an art studio that also offers online and in-person classes and workshops.
George Winn, Art Teacher
George is a visual artist and graphic designer with experience in painting, drawing, illustration, creative direction, graffiti art, and mural art. He has worked with a number of clients on commissioned projects, including multiple skate companies, Artist of Color Collective, Social Justice Law Journal, and Starbucks. George has also volunteered with Lyle School District in Oregon and is excited to bring his experience transitioning from physical to digital art and helping students grow in their own digital art journey.
