The Substitute teacher position is an on-call at-will position. A flexible schedule is preferred, as we often need substitutes to fill in on short notice. Upon hire, we will perform a background check. Minimum Requirements

• Experience working with neurodivergent learners, particularly twice-exceptional students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be flexible.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and social justice in education.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Work well both independently and with a team.

Preferred Requirements

• Teaching experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Deep knowledge of the developmental needs of 4th-12th grade learners.

Salary

• This position is an on-call as needed position that pays $200/day for a full day of substituting responsibilities 8:30-3:30pm. This position is not benefit eligible due to the on-call nature of the role.
