Trillium Academy Admissions

Admissions Summary

The students at Trillium Academy don’t fit into neat or narrow categories. They are neurocomplex, gifted learners with traits like ADHD, anxiety, depression, dysgraphia, sensory sensitivities, and/or autism. Our students’ developmental paths are nonlinear, and their strengths and challenges co-exist in intricate, individualized ways. At Trillium Academy, we embrace this complexity and build educational experiences that are as nuanced and dynamic as our students are, with a particular consideration for their strengths.

The students who are a fit for Trillium Academy are curious; want to learn; have deep interests, talents, and/or passions; and are ready to join a specialized, small group learning environment.

Our students often have educational journeys that include more than one school, breaks from school, and homeschooling. We are prepared to discuss the application process with these different scenarios in mind and collaborate with you to make the application process work for your circumstances.

Through the admissions process, our intent is to:

Meet with you to discuss how Trillium may be a fit for your family.
Learn about your unique child in-person and through application materials.
Provide you and your child with a direct experience of Trillium Academy.

Mid-year Admission

Families are welcome to apply for admission after the initial priority deadline (January 15). These applicants are considered on a rolling, space-available basis.

If you are interested in applying for the 2025-26 school year, please reach out to admissions@trilliumacademy.org as soon as possible. Mid-year students can only enroll before winter break for middle school, and before the end of January for high school.

Tuition

Tuition is $48,880 for the 2025-26 school year. For students entering mid-year, tuition is pro-rated according to the month of enrollment.

Financial Aid

Currently, about 14% of the students at Trillium are benefiting from financial aid, and we are dedicated to exploring ways to offer more aid and resources for families to afford tuition.

We use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need, based on the information that families share in the application. This includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge.

The deadline for completing the 2026-27 financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is January 16, 2026. If approved for aid, families must sign the enrollment contract and agree to their award before a student can begin classes.

Recipients must reapply for financial aid annually to remain eligible for future aid.
