How to Start the Application Process

At Trillium Academy, our admissions process centers on learning about and understanding the prospective students and families who are interested in our school. Trillium Academy accepts applications for grades 5-8 (Middle School) and 9-12 (High School) in accordance with the following deadlines:

January 15, 2026: Applications Due for Priority Consideration
February 20, 2026: High School Decisions Released
February 27, 2026: High School Family Response Required
March 20, 2026: Middle School Decisions Released
March 27, 2026: Middle School Family Response Required

Prior to the formal submission of an application, we engage in a series of discussions to build understanding about your prospective student. After you submit an inquiry form, our Admission Specialist will schedule a parent/guardian meeting to be held by phone, Zoom, or in-person according to your needs and preference. We will also arrange for you to come to Trillium Academy for a family tour and to talk with your student. This starts the process.

Throughout the application process, our admissions team will review information gathered at each step. We may send additional questionnaires to help us assess if your child is twice-exceptional and if we can meet their needs. We will be in communication with you throughout the process.

Along with many other independent schools in the area, we use the Ravenna common application system to gather application materials. We want to work with you to make the application process as seamless as possible.

Mid-year Admission

Families are welcome to apply for admission after the initial priority deadline (January 15). These applicants are considered on a rolling, space-available basis.

If you are interested in applying for the 2025-26 school year, please reach out to admissions@trilliumacademy.org as soon as possible.

Tuition

Tuition is $48,880 for the 2025-26 school year. For students entering mid-year, tuition is pro-rated according to the month of enrollment.

Financial Aid

Currently, about 14% of the students at Trillium are benefiting from financial aid, and we are dedicated to exploring ways to offer more aid and resources for families to afford tuition.

We use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need, based on the information that families share in the application. This includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge.

The deadline for completing the 2026-27 financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is January 15, 2026. If approved for aid, families must sign the enrollment contract and agree to their award before a student can begin classes.

Recipients must reapply for financial aid annually to remain eligible for future aid.
